Privacy and cookies

Updated 20 September 2026.

Essential storage

This website uses storage in your browser to remember some study settings, including your navigation choice and recent retrieval questions. Your cookie choice is also stored on this device. These features work without optional analytics. You can clear this storage in your browser settings.

Optional analytics

With your permission, Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, can collect page visits and course activity events such as topic views, flashcard and quiz starts and completions, hints, and the topic or difficulty involved. This helps us understand which Physics topics and study tools are useful. Google Analytics may use cookies and receive technical information associated with a visit, such as device and browser information and an IP address during transmission. We do not send names, email addresses, written answers or student identifiers as custom analytics data. The site does not intentionally enable Google advertising features, personalised ads, or cross-site profiling.

Analytics is inactive unless you choose “Allow analytics” and the site owner has configured a Google Analytics Measurement ID. Choosing “Essential only” does not affect lessons or revision tools. No earlier activity is queued for later reporting.

Change your choice

Use “Cookie settings” in the footer on the main site to change your choice at any time. If you withdraw consent, this site stops sending analytics events and attempts to remove its Google Analytics cookies. You can also clear cookies in your browser; data already processed by Google is not deleted by changing your choice here.

Feedback

If you use the site's feedback form, the message and any name or email address you voluntarily provide are sent separately through the feedback service. They are not included in analytics events.
